Music plays a very large part in the Brazilian culture with popular styles like choro, samba and bossa nova. Caipira music is considered the Brazilian version of country music and is also very popular.

The Brazilian cuisine is as varied as its geography and culture. The national dish is called feijoada, which is a robust stew made of black beans, pork (ears, knuckles, chops, sausage) and beef (usually dried). It’s served with rice, and garnished with collard greens and sliced oranges.

Brazil has the world’s largest Roman Catholic population, and they make up about 80% of the people. Protestant Christians account for about 15% of the population with various other religions making up the rest.
